Modern design infused with botanicals…growLively jewelry is designed and handcrafted by Leslie Finical Halleck in her Dallas studio.  Pieces in Sterling and Argentium Sterling silver are hand cut and fabricated, each having their own unique character.  Lines are clean and modern with delicate botanical embellishment.  Each piece is made individually for you after you place your order. About Leslie…If my hands aren't busy doing something, then something just isn't right with the world.  Art has been my passion and pursuit since I could pick up a crayon.  I always thought I'd be an artist of some sort.  I did spend the first couple of years in college as an art major, but somewhere along the way caught the Botany bug.  I finished my B.S. in Biology and Botany in Texas and then a Master’s degree in Horticulture in Michigan.  Currently, my primary profession is as a Horticulturist and writer in Dallas, Texas.  Several years ago, I found a metal working instructor and took classes in jewelry fabrication.  The tactile experience of working with metal took hold of me.  I enjoy the process of forming the metal while incorporating imagery from nature.  Plants and insects are my favorite subjects. Stylized versions of these subjects inspire the motifs for my jewelry. More to come....only a few select pieces are currently displayed for sale.
